Jongingozi was established in 2006 and is a company that thrives on solving mining challenges. The company was established to service mines that require specialized operational know-how services, and to mines that are marginal and are high risk or have high risk areas.

Mining in South Africa has reached a point where it should be turning around, with the sterilized resources becoming available. This can and will initiate a surge of opening of new mines, more jobs created and a generally more versatile mining industry.

The availability of the expansive, high grade deposits of the Witwatersrand Basin are is a thing of the past. The future gold mines are going to have to be smaller, more efficient and highly innovative to remain in business. The current price of commodities and the Rand/US Dollar further exacerbate the chances of success in this risk-prone environment.

In the Platinum and Chrome division the largest challenge is working efficiently and a drive on cost control. Efficiencies play an integral part of the operation and although mechanization is dominant, old areas need to be accessed and reclamation of old ore and equipment will assist in cutting costs
